How We Help

Programs and Support

Our trauma-informed vision addresses housing, connection, practical navigation, and long-term empowerment for adult burn survivors and their families.

01

Transitional Healing Homes

Our central vision is a furnished, accessible, trauma-informed home environment designed to support recovery after hospital discharge. Program availability will be communicated transparently as facilities and services become operational.

  • Private and dignified spaces
  • Accessible home features
  • Family-inclusive support when feasible
02

Peer Support and Community

Recovery can be isolating. Survivor-informed connection, mentorship, and community gatherings can help people feel understood and less alone.

  • Peer connection
  • Community gatherings
  • Survivor-informed programming
03

Resource Navigation

Healing Home Group aims to help survivors and families identify relevant transportation, rehabilitation, mental-health, benefits, housing, and community resources. We do not provide medical advice.

  • Referral navigation
  • Practical recovery resources
  • Hospital and community collaboration
04

Life Skills and Empowerment

Future workshops may address budgeting, nutrition, digital literacy, personal wellness, goal-setting, and other tools that support independence.

  • Practical skills
  • Personal goals
  • Long-term confidence
